How we cite
Tier 1 sources behind every claim.
Every factual claim on this site is footnoted, by name and URL, to one of the primary regulatory or scientific sources below. Each is re-verified on a quarterly minimum cadence.
- U.S. Food & Drug Administration— Regulatory authority on which stem-cell products are approved, investigational, or marketed without approval.
- ISSCR Guidelines for Stem Cell Research and Clinical Translation— Scientific-society consensus on what counts as legitimate stem-cell research vs. direct-to-consumer marketing.
- ClinicalTrials.gov— Federal clinical-trial registry. A listing means a trial exists — nothing about safety, efficacy, or endorsement.
- Cochrane Library— Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized trials. Gold-standard aggregator when a Cochrane review exists.
